The Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation, Center for College and University Sports Medicine Pre-Participation Exams and Special Populations addresses areas to identify student-athletes that fall into special populations and subsequently provide guidelines to assist the clinician in the monitoring and care of identifiable conditions. The goal is to identify what is currently taking place on the college campus as well as best practice guidelines to determine an optimal standard of care.
